I watch as my "future self" goes limp. Blood surrounding the body. Kaburamaru curled up on my chest. I felt present Kaburamaru tighten around my neck.
Suddenly we see someone run in. "Obanai!!!!" She yells. It was Mitsuri. "NOO!!" She's crying. I look at present Mitsuri. She's also crying. She looks scared.
Mitsuri goes up to me. "Am I too late?" She frantically checks my pulse. "No, no, no, no, no. This can't be happening... I knew it was going to happen. How did I let it happen?"
I based the storyline on the Scrooge musical since I watched it not that long ago. Also there are some heavy topics in this book including suicide, eating disorders, panic attacks, death, and self harm. If this triggers you DONT READ

Sarah Holmes knew she was unloveable. She had been looked over all her life. Finally thinking she had found love, only to find out that it was a lie. A happy outward portrayal while passionless moments behind closed doors. It was no surprise when her husband of ten years walked out on her for a co-worker. Both of then eventually fell in love, and they even dated. Everything was great until they had a mission involving a lower moon. After the mission they got hashira position, but unfortunately...
