What if coming home every day was living your worst nightmares on repeat? Joshua Roberts never knows what to expect when he walks in his house. With a mother on crack, an assortment of men following her around, and three younger siblings at home there's not much time to think about anything besides how he's going to get food on the table this week and what he can do to keep those guys from looking at his sisters. But Josh has dreams for a bright future, a safe haven in the storm. Those kids deserve a daddy and a safe place, and he doesn't care what he has to do to protect his family, he's going to do it. There's one person in this world who sort of gets it: Melia Ridley. He would give anything to have her by his side through all of this. But how can he ask someone with options and a life to take on this burden? How can he balance a life for himself and taking care of his family? How can he make sure no one else finds out what happens when he walks home at night?

That is, until HE comes along... Suddenly, she has some one she can turn to, somewhere she can go to feel safe...Safe...something she hasn't felt in a long time. Together, they will defeat the monster that constantly haunts Robyn's nightmares. Could the future be looking brighter...? Please Note: I was 13 when I wrote this so a lot of it does make me cringe reading it back over. I'm glad people are still enjoying it, but I will warn you that it isn't the best, aha! HammyUK :)
