Kaia moved to Korea to live with her K-POP idol brother at 11 from Canada to follow her own dreams of becoming an idol as well. She finally made her debut at 15 years old as a solo artist. Five years after debuting, Kaia is rocked with the biggest scandal of her career. A dating rumor with another idol but not just an idol on of the rising to popularity boy band BTS.
The rumor starts after her and Jungkook are spotted out to dinner. The article goes on to say they ate alone but really it was all of the '97 line eating together. Jungkook and Kaia even went to the same school and graduated together. They have been friends since she moved to Seoul. She found the whole thing preposterous.
She hadn't even thought about dating in over a year when she and her ex broke up. They had dated secretly for almost a year but there hectic schedules drove them apart. They constantly fought.
The company, not wanting to take any chance on the rumor blowing up even more, makes a drastic move. Giving Kaia an ultimatum. Either she quits being an idol or she joins BTS as their 8th member. Not wanting to give up the career that she loves and that saved her in so many ways, she opts to join BTS.
