On a weekend trip home from college, the Mechanical Engineering student, Harley Greyson, is looking for a good time to take her mind off the old flame she doesn't want to run into. The dangerously handsome, tall glass of kerosene, Finnegan O'Connor.
Firefighter Finn is the hometown hottie who Harley had left behind. With a broken heart and a little black book full of numbers, he has no problem picking up and setting panties on fire all over town. But the word on the street is, Finn never got over the girl that got away. The problem is, the only girl he really wants, the one he burns for, she never answers his calls.
So what's a guy to do but kill time while he waits for something that might never come?
Love-Fest is the biggest Valentine's Day celebration that the city of Darkport has ever seen and this year Harley refuses to miss out on all the action just because she's single.
When everything goes horribly wrong at the festival, Finn is called in on duty and Harley is forced to face the danger of the flames head on. She always liked to play with fire, but can Harley rekindle the inferno that used to set her heart ablaze? Or will their love burn out for good?
