In a distant land, there were 2 teens who took care of all the mobs, passive and agressive, on the island. They lived a peaceful life, of which was far away from any sorts of civilization. The pair were best friends, practically unrelated brothers, and their names were Tommy and Tubbo. Each day, the two would do their daily routine of tending to all the mobs, crops, and the land, and their life was undisturbed by any outsiders, until one day, when a group of adults docked their boats at the edge of the island. Well, looks like Fate had a special surpise planted for both of the two groups, you could say. New AU! I found this AU on Twitter, and it's obviously not mine. NO SHIPS. Ranboo is a nineteen year old merman. There's not much to his life, other than the fact that he's a merman. Ranboo's father is the king/god of the ocean. Now, that's pretty cool, right? Wrong! His father doesn't let him do anything. He has to stay at the castle all day and night doing jack shit. One day, when Ranboo sneaks out to go to the peer, he spots a boy, maybe just a year or two younger than him, in an unsafe ordeal. Ranboo's quick thinking saves the boy, and then Ranboo's life starts to change. In the ""wise"" words of c!Ranboo, "choose people not sides." Sometimes, though, you have to choose a side. Tommy's lived in the same town forever, his two older brothers taking care of him and all the other crimes in the city as the top heroes after the death of their parents. From running around town with Tubbo (and maybe Ranboo sometimes) to skipping school (also with Tubbo), Tommy could probably take on the world as long as he had his best friend beside him. However, when you're assigned a side from birth, it's hard not to have enemies...... ~ ~ ~ Mostly Tommy's perspective, some angst so TWs will be listed at the beginning of those chapters. Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo are 17, Techno and Wilbur are 21, everyone else is up to your imagination. Updates every other day unless I forget. This is my first story!
