Every year during summer, the Daniels family makes the trip from the upper east side of New York down to a small beach town in Alabama known as Bellevue, and every year is the same. Celie "Charlie" Daniels is determined to make this summer trip one to remember. This is a story of a girl who breaks out her shell and explores herself with the help of the boy from Bellevue.
