After the events of "J.H. White's Puss in Boots," Puss has to leap back into action after his wife Kitty Softpaws is murdered at the hands of mercenaries led by Scars, a terrifying new villain in the Shrek world. However, as Scars' past unfolds and Puss gets closer to discovering the truth about his universe, it becomes apparent that nothing is as it seems, nobody can be trusted, and nothing can be made sense of in this thrilling cerebral sequel.
