Quinn had always carried a piece of Steve Harrington's heart with her, though she could have sworn it was a little more tacky than sentimental-like a badly-stitched leather jacket that had seen better days.

After her mother's death, her Grandparents made the "bright" decision to send her to live with her dad-oh, let's call him Mr. "Charming" (because sarcasm is the only coping mechanism she has left)-had a way of making every day feel like walking on broken glass. Still, she'd clung to the memory of Steve. He had always been her escape, her lifeline.

Steve, ever the dependable, emotionally mature guy that he was, promised to keep in touch. And then, naturally, broke that promise like it was a bad habit.
