It's been two months since the remaining 200 immunes left through the flat trans to the untouched part of the earth. Yet something is missing; Newt knows that he won't ever be able to blank out the pain of his friend's deaths, but there's something else.
When Marley turns up, Newt knows she's trouble - how has someone else got through the flat trans? Can cranks get through? With their new world in jeopardy, for Newt it is a battle with his head and heart.
The plot thickens as a Flat Trans opens up. Where does it go? Who set it up?
It seems like Marley must be the key, but she's got enough on her plate. Unwilling to open up, she makes a rash decision, which leads to a horrific twist.
The battle is not over yet.

(Most characters are not mine, but James Dasher's. This story is my idea of life after The Kill Order. All credit to James Dashner, only Marley and a couple of noted other characters are my own.
I know Newt dies *sobs* but I'm pretending that he was immune and just went with Thomas and Minho in The Kill Order!)

"We are never getting out of here are we," I said to my best friend without the slightest bit of hope. "Come on, Teddy. Don't think like that," he says trying to reassure me. I notice him fidgeting with his hands, knowing I'm probably right. We are both standing on the Watch tower, leaning over the railing. I look across the Glade. I study the people and my surroundings. I remember when I first met Newt. Two young kids finding their way out of the Maze. We protected each other at all costs. We still do. We are all each other has. ~~~ Teddy has been trapped in the Glade for about three years. She was the third person to come up in the box with pure confusion and fear. Sometimes though, she wonders about what life outside the Maze is like, what their lives could be like. Even though the Glade is the only home Teddy and her fellow Gladers have ever known, she wants to leave. She wants answers. She wants to know the life she can't remember living. They've seemed to have tried everything, and loosing her friends is her worst nightmare. But when the opportunity is open to leave, thanks to Thomas, will they take the chance to get out? What happens when Thomas needs to actually start helping out? How much had Newt's coma ruined the boy, and how much had Thomas missed? To me, Thomas has become so selfish and I quite don't like him as a character after all that. And let's not talk about that page on the book where Newt's existence is blown off! Or so they thought, when Thomas goes off in the vents in the middle of the night with a guy they don't even know and find out the real truth about the place they thought was safe. Newt X fem. Reader TW!!!: mentions of self harm, suicidal thoughts and rape/attempted rape All around violence Horrible description of story: You're the first and only girl in the maze, you where the 1st person to come up in the maze. You're very reserved, shy and and closed off because of what happened to you during the first month you were on your own. but you also are very powerful and run the glade. All of a sudden, a new Greenie comes around and notices you. you closed yourself off to him but something happens and makes you two start to become close, but what happens next? Only one way to find out! this follows tmr, tst, and tdc but not exactly Thomas and Minho are your best friends but Minho has always been closer to you if you see any errors or something doest make sense, pls tell me and ill change it. But try and be nice and resonable when you do give me advice. Basiclly, don't be a slinthead about it :) All of the characters in this belong to James Dashner. execept you, you belong to yourself, and no one else ;) I haven't written in a while and I think the book ended on a semi good note so I'll end it now and I might make a sequel in the futureComplete
