Children under 5 years old are generally not accepted as unaccompanied minors and must be accompanied by someone who is at least 18 years old.

Service Fee:
Alaska Airlines usually charges an additional fee for unaccompanied minors. The fee amount may vary, so it's essential to check their website or contact the airline for the current fee.

Booking:
Unaccompanied minors must be booked directly with Alaska Airlines and cannot be booked online. You will need to contact the airline's reservations department to make the necessary arrangements.

Required Forms:
Parents or guardians will need to complete specific forms during the booking process. These forms typically include contact information for both the departing and arriving adults, as well as details about any medical or special needs the child may have.

Escort to the Gate:
Parents or guardians are usually required to escort the child to the airport and check them in at the Alaska Airlines ticket counter.

In-Flight Care:
