The problem is, Tzuyu is mute and she has ever been after a side effect of medicine she took when she was having a high fever as a child. For Tzuyu to talk to Sana, she needs to do a sign language but Sana is blind. And for Sana to know who she was talking, Tzuyu needs to talk, but she's mute.
