According to my research (a 10 second google search about the meaning of the song 12 days of Christmas), the song is 12 days because that is apparently the amount of time it took for the 3 wise to go from where they were to meet Jesus. So I made this.
This is an anthology of poems that I created for the holiday season for the year 2023. I hope that you enjoy it.

Twenty-four days. That's how long it took me to fall in love. Pretty impressive, since for the first twenty-three days all I had to fall in love with were little presents slipped into my locker. MY CHRISTMAS ROMANCE
Everyone knows those Christmas romances where they pretend to be a couple for the holidays and end up falling in love before Christmas Eve, right? Well, at least every hopeless romantic does. Victoria Jones aka Mrs. Grinch hates Winter and the holiday season. Her brother asked her to come to their hometown to meet his fiancée, the same town which she never visited after graduating. On her way, an unexpected series of events happen to her and her dog, Mini. She meets her first love after nine years and the feelings she had for him blossom again. Daniel Moore, the total opposite of Victoria loves Christmas and challenges Victoria that he can change her heart. Will Victoria be able to fight her feelings or fall for the same guy again? I looked at his lips; they look so soft, pink, and yummy. He continued leaning his eyes darted between my eyes and lips. When our noses touched, my eyes automatically closed, and I felt his breath on my lips. Is this happening? Are we going to kiss? Winter was not the time for everyone. Especially not for Holly, who was snowed in her college building. To her bad luck, she had decided to leave for home on the twenty-first, unlike her friends, when a snowstorm had suddenly hit town. She had cursed mother nature's name. All she had wanted to do was get home as late as possible to shorten the time she would have to spend with her mom and stepdad... but now, she would never get to her destination in time.
