"He's pushed. He stumbles over the edge of the building, his legs working against him. He's falling. He can hear a panicked scream from Megumi. He can only hope Kugisaki is still breathing. He exhales just as he hits the ground. His skin sinks into him. His bones make a sickening sound as they crush under him. His blood flows freely out of him. His muscles spasm and then quit. All for a few seconds.

Five seconds.

And then he's gasping awake to pounding on a door and falling over his bed."
