Galadriel has seen more war in five years than most would experience in a lifetime. She and her brother, Finrod, commanded the Great War's most elite death squad: the Loriens. Together they completed untold thousands of missions, destroying some of the Enemy's most valuable strongholds and weapons. In the last crucial battle of the War, Finrod was killed by Sauron, an Enemy lieutenant of reputed cruelty on and off the battlefield. Morgoth was killed in the same battle, and the Loriens were sent home. Galadriel and her commandos were expected to re-assimilate with the civilian population. Galadriel has struggled to adapt for months; but with her brother gone and so many of the Enemy soldiers, including Sauron, at large, how can she put down the weapons that have kept her safe for so long? Halbrand finally makes his way north to take refuge in the great city of Lindon, where a chance encounter with a half-elf lord puts him directly into the path of Galadriel. He's done fighting. It's time to atone for his misdeeds. If his identity is exposed, can he make the person who matters most to him understand? The two journey to the Southlands, where an orc father is pursuing a secret of his own. What is Adar hunting? That's a lot of very dramatic questions for a single description. All that cinematic fluff aside, I hope you'll take a look at my original fiction piece, as it has cost me many brain cells and many hours of sleep. As far as I've monitored here's where this bizarre brainchild of mine has topped out in the hashtags: #1 in haladriel #11 in ringsofpower #19 in lotr #14 in lordoftherings #7 in sauron #1 in galadriel #1 in annatar

Amby Awards 2025 Grand Favorite Winner As Angmar prepares its final assault on the Kingdom of Arthedain, twin half elves from a doomed house will determine the fate of the Line of Isildur forever. Can be read fandom blind! * * * * * * * For five hundred years, Rínior and Maedeth, the last descendants of Fëanor through his son Caranthir, have aided Arthedain in its war against Angmar. Rínior protects the southern border as the famed Hero of the North. He will do anything to protect his wife and young daughter, but five hundred years is a long time to be surrounded by death and destruction. Despair nips at his heels. Elrohir cautions him to look for light amidst the endless darkness. Maedeth serves the kings as a councilwoman and trusted emissary. She worries for her brother's safety while sitting at home in a dying kingdom, but after five hundred years she is given a mission which she cannot afford to fail. Elladan refuses to leave her side, guarding her on her journey. But the doom of Mandos is not far behind. With Celebrimbor dead, only the twins remain of Fëanor's line. And perhaps in the twilight of Arthedain, the words spoken after the first kinslaying will finally come to fruition: "For blood ye shall render blood, and beyond Aman ye shall dwell in Death's shadow." * * * * * * * Rated: M, for graphic depictions of war Based on: The Lord of the Rings Appendices and The Silmarillion More info inside
