Milo absolutely hated chocolate. He hated everything about it. The sugar, always to sweet. That's what he hated about it most. The sweetness.
His best friend, Noodle, never had chocolate, and since Milo hated, so did she. That's how she was brought up.
Milo never meant to make her hate chocolate, but she had just picked it up from him, unintentionally.
So when Willy Wonka, a 'soon to be famous' chocolatier gets thrown down the laundry shoot of Mrs. Scrubbit's for not being able to pay his debts and finds out about Milo's distaste for chocolate, he aims to change it.
But maybe it wasn't his view on chocolate Wonka was trying to change, maybe it was something else.
