Ellie and y/n were best friends when they were younger they had another friend her name was Riley. They were at the mall and Ellie got bit so did Riley but Ellie didn't turn. A guy named Joel had to take Ellie and y/n to people called the firefly's. When he found out it would kill to make the cure he went to save them. Y/n got injured and he couldn't carry both of the girls so he left y/n.
Now y/n is finding her way back and trying to survive when she finds Ellie and Joel something bad happens. And now y/n has to learn how to go on without someone she loved the most.

Joel is in his late 40's, he was there when the apocalypse started and has suffered ever since, until he meets Ellie and his entire perspective on life changes. He finds that over time he begins to have feelings for Ellie, he wants to protect her and shelter her from this horrible life. Can Ellie and Joel save the world?
