Percy Jackson was no ordinary kid. He got bad grades, had adhd and dislexia. Same with Y/n
L/n. Those two have been best friends forever.
Y/n's mom "died" when she was a baby and her dad was a really bad dad. Percy's dad left before he was born and Sally Jackson had gotten together with someone named Gabe. Gabe and Y/n's dad were friends. Percy and Y/n became friends in the second grade. They had both seen something odd. These two kids have been inseparable ever since. They didn't know what they were getting into.

Percy Jackson had almost always been deaf. The reason he was deaf was because one day as Gabe was driving the car they crashed and the glass cut his ear so badly that he couldn't hear.
