The game was impossible to win, yet he still tried to annihilate it the way he usually could. One video, one picture; only one simple piece of evidence with his futile victory would've crown him in reverence. Though the game was lost in a fiery explosion. And through that, so was Fleur.

Her disappearance came as a surprise to not only him, but to anyone in Seattle who had ever heard the name. Although it was widely agreed amongst everyone who knew her story that she must've finally had it with being his pawn, so she left. Especially after the way her debut was abruptly publicized to the entirety of campus. Helplessly and mercilessly.

Her salacious and unexpected debut. The video of her first time with the only person she believe she could trust.

Empty, just the same as he was before he met her, Steele attempts to continue on with his cold life. Back to being stuck with distasteful women, resented friendships, alcohol, and drugs to keep himself occupied. Forever known as formidable.

Forever trying to forget Fleur and the way he betrayed her.

-🤍- "I wanted him... but I couldn't have him. So instead, I admired from a distance......but that only least for a week." (A spin-off of 𝐀 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭. Part of the interconnected series) 𝐍𝐢𝐱𝐢𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝, despite her innocent sounding name, was as ruthless as they came. Nobody dared to get on her bad side, knowing the violent consequences that would follow, given her gang-related history. But that was only on the outside. On the inside, she was still the little girl who had to watch her mother go to prison for trying to protect her. She was still the little girl who moved to a different country to stay with her aunt and cousin. She was still the little girl who was always the second choice and never the first. Now in university, she was barely hanging on to life itself as she entered her second year of college. She walked into her second year looking for a change-something different-but she wasn't expecting him. 𝐀𝐫𝐳𝐡𝐞𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬. His innocent nature, his naïve eyes, the light pink tint that covered his cheeks when someone made a dirty joke-it was all so alluring and addictive to Nixie. But she knew she couldn't touch him. She couldn't destroy his innocence; she knew firsthand what that was like. But then again, Nixie was never one for self-control. He was hers... he just didn't know it yet. -🤍- "You're mine Arzhel, you here me? Only fucking mine...do you understand that-answer me properly." The boy's pulsed quicken and his eyes darkened. The innocence that was once held in his light green eyes fizzled out. The feeling of her dark acrylic nails on his neck cause a shiver to run down his spine. He swallowed thickly, "Yes ma'am." - ⚠️Trigger Warnings included*

"You have lost your mind, what the hell do you think you're doing?" She yells at me. "Don't start with me." "I'm not starting shit, Elijah! This was supposed to be a night out and then you come along, you ruin everything!" The anger on her voice isn't lost on me, I've never heard her this mad before and she is dangerously attractive with the wild look in her eyes and slightly open mouth. "You shouldn't even be here! What the fuck do you mean a night out, have you gone insane?" I raise my voice unintentionally and she looks even more crazed than she did before. "That's rich, coming from the jerk who almost killed a guy minutes ago!" ********* Elijah Black is her first love. He is her only love. ~ 2021 WATTY'S SHORTLIST ~ "I-well, I..." I hesitated with my response. I wanted to let go. To not worry about what would happen in the future. I'd always loved staring into fires. It hypnotized me with its beauty and danger. It was so tantalizing to look at, but one little touch could destroy. I knew the heat between Tyler and I was similar. It started off small but it had only grown in the weeks he'd been here. We'd fed it unintentionally, and it had gone from an ember to a crackling flame. Every nerve in my body wanted to reach out and touch it, even though I knew I'd get burned. *************************************************** Pia Callahan always lived a carefree life with no worries. Her only responsibilities were to attend her college classes (sometimes) and keep herself fed (on ramen). When tragedy strikes, Pia is all of the sudden thrown into a whirlwind of change. She has to grow up and take on more responsibility than she could ever imagine: the custody of her best friend's son. Pia may not believe she is the best person for the job, but she is determined to do it. She'll trade in frat parties for PTA meetings and beer-bongs for apple juice. But what happens when the ruggedly hot motocross athlete Tyler Westwood shows up in her small town? Tyler lives on the fast track, never caring too much about consequences. You can't when your job is to do backflips through the air. Sometimes, you just have to send it and hope for the best. From the second Tyler meets Pia, he knows he wants her. But she is determined to ignore their bubbling chemistry. She has priorities now and a summer fling isn't one of them. Will Pia be able to stay away from Tyler? Or will she decide to hit the throttle? ***************************************************
