Our main troll character is Karkat Vantis. He is a short and fiesty 16 year old with a minor god complex and a tendancy for self-loathing remarks and actions. He has and older brother, who we'll deal with in a later chapter, and many, of what he likes to call, "hate friends." However every so often he'll remind himself they don't consider him a friend! they simply hate him.
Karkat likes to keep his blood color a secret as he doesn't want other to see him as more of a freak than he already is. He likes to read fiction and romance novels as they provide an escape from his sad, miserable, loveless, life. He also likes music.
