You look completely unfazed. For some reason, that bothers him. "So this is your calling," he says. "Your passion. And you're going to let me come in here and insult the hell out of flowers."

Your eyes meet his. "I have the feeling I'll be getting your money either way," you say casually, turning the card machine towards him. "Will that be cash or card?"

Or, Levi Ackerman thinks flowers do nothing but cost a shit ton of money, carry around bugs, and then die, thereby defining them as pointless. But then he meets you, and while they're still all of those things, maybe they have a different definition.
