Oh, how misfortune can afflict even the purest of souls. Tragedy can befall even the kindest of people time and time again, seemingly with no rhyme or reason. This was true for one Okawa Tadashi. At birth, his mother died to a severe case of eclampsia, and soon after a few months later his father simply walked out and never showed his face again. Through this unfortunate series of events, Tadashi was forced to live through the foster system for his whole life, going from family to family, never finding a home meant for him. He was alone, always having to leave behind every friend he made. Twenty long years of loneliness with only a handful of friends who stuck with him, it made his once kind heart...harden, walls built themselves up around him. Hope seemed to find him though, he found several people who stuck with him and truly tried to help him. However one fateful night, he suffered a massive stroke and passed away in his sleep...but when he woke, things were not what they once were. He was in a body not his own, a body that was very much not human in the slightest. This is the story of someone that started from rock bottom in one life, and was given a chance to rise to the very top in the next life. The body he rocked now wasn't exactly...desired, but he would make the most of his circumstances.
