In Islam, Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) holds a significant place as the first human being and the father of humanity. According to Islamic teachings, Allah (God) created Adam from clay and breathed life into him, making him the first human and the first prophet. The story of Adam is mentioned in the Quran, the central religious text of Islam, and is also found in various Hadiths (sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him). Prophet Adam was created with great honor and distinction, and he was granted knowledge and intelligence by Allah. He was placed in the Garden of Paradise (Jannah) and given the responsibility to worship and obey Allah. Adam and his wife, Hawwa (Eve), lived a peaceful and blissful life in Paradise. However, Allah tested Adam by commanding him not to eat from the forbidden tree in Paradise. Unfortunately, Adam and Hawwa were tempted by Satan (Iblis) and disobeyed Allah's command. They ate from the tree, realizing their mistake and feeling remorse. As a result, they were expelled from Paradise and sent down to Earth to live as humans. Adam's descent on Earth marked the beginning of humanity. He and Hawwa had many children, and from them, the human race spread throughout the world. Adam continued to worship Allah and teach his children about the oneness of God and the importance of righteous living. His role as a prophet was to guide people back to the worship of Allah and to remind them of their purpose in life. In Islam, Adam is highly respected as the father of all human beings and is considered a prophet of great stature. Muslims believe in the divine wisdom behind Adam's creation and his subsequent experience on Earth as a means for humanity to learn and grow. His story serves as a reminder of the importance of repentance, obedience to Allah, and seeking forgiveness for one's mistakes.

The Quran is the final revealed message which complements and completes earlier revealed scriptures, just as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught the same essential message as the many prophets before him, including Adam, Noah, Moses, Abraham, and Jesus (peace be upon them all). The Quran clarifies what humanity needs to know from now until the Day of Judgment, and it will remain preserved from loss and distortion which affected previous scriptures in various ways. allah say in th quran "This is a blessed Book which We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ so that they may contemplate its verses, and people of reason may be mindful." 38:29
