Jackson Portman is just one of those guys who doesn't have a lot of friends, that is until he meets Oliver Tenneson. I guess you could Jackson is a closet gay because no one knows. Jackson is the quiet one in the back of the classroom, the one who knows the answer, but doesn't speak up often. Oliver Tenneson has just moved to town from Maine. He's a closet gay who is shy, but takes things seriously. But, thanks to whatever deity that made there meeting possible. We'll see how the little town of Sharpie, Illinois takes to two gays. We will see how their relationship will withstand all of the hardships thrown at them. Even after Jackson is disowned by both his parents and kicked out by his mother.
