Back in California, life was good for me. I had everything a ghoul could need: territory and a solid place in a gang. Unlike the Feudal Bureau of Ghouls (FBG), which operated with different methods than their counterparts in Japan, they used Q-bullets against us. But things changed when the CCG (Commission of Counter Ghoul) sent investigators to the States, looking for one of their most wanted ghouls who had smuggled Themselves into Japan.
That ghoul, the one who escaped to the U.S., had connections with my gang's boss. He was trying to recruit some of our members to join his organization back in Japan. But before anything could be settled, the CCG, along with squads from the FBG, raided our meeting. What followed was complete chaos. Ghouls were either captured or killed on sight. I fought back, but it was overwhelming. A few of us managed to escape the raid.
After the raid, the authorities quickly gathered intel from our hidout out they got everything, every know associated, where we lived, and who we were. The group I escaped with scattered. Some fled to different states, while others crossed borders into other countries. As for me, I chose the latter.
(I don't own Tokyo ghoul or prototype they belong to their respective owners)
