Her soft pink lips brushed against his, which were surprisingly plump and warm. She linked her fingers through his soft locks as he turned his head into her hand. Their kiss was short and chaste as she pulled away and stepped back to give the man space.
"Please" he started, his eyes still closed as if reminiscing the moment, "leave."
He opened his onyx eyes, revealing grief and confusion.
"Severus, I..." Daisy began, but was cut off by his cold stare. Tears began to well up as her bottom lip quivered, "this was a mistake, I'm sorry" she squeaked looking down to wipe away a stray tear. She reached into the pocket of her black robes.

She finally pulled out what she was looking for and looked back up at the professor. He shuddered when her warm hands grabbed his and unclasped his fingers to put a singular wild daisy into his palm.
"To remember me" she said with a soft smile, and with those final words she turned around and hurried out the classroom without looking back. Severus open his mouth, he wanted to say something, but he couldn't. All he could do was hold up the small flower, the petals disheveled from sitting in her pocket, but the colors still vibrant as when she picked it.
He didn't know when he would see her next, possibly never, but he could only hope...
