I decided to upload one of my more popular works to this site.
It started as a one-shot series idea for Tokyo Ghoul, but it's slowly developing a plot of its own. So let's call it a mix of one-shots and a multi-chapter story. A Touken story based of the manga.
Who would have known that something so simple and innocent, would lead to an endless turmoil of separation, desperation, despair, comfort and love. From colleagues/friends to lovers.
Fluff, angst, drama, comfort, gore, psychological and many other genres will be present here!!

Y/N didn't live the best of lives. At the young age of eight he came home to discover his parents murdered. It was later discovered that ghouls were responsible. Not having a whole lot of family he moved in with his aunt who'd neglect and abuse him. His whole childhood he grew up alone until high school came along and he met a friend by the name of John. He's what got him through those four years by simply being there for him. Unfortunately he to was killed by a ghoul. Y/N had nothing. Wanting to just escape everything at the end of high school he enlisted in the US Army Rangers. During his five years of service he was stationed in Japan he enjoyed the city of Tokyo a lot. By the time he retired he decided on moving to Tokyo where he quickly picked up Japanese. With the money he got from the military he bought a small bookstore that had an apartment just above it. The area of Tokyo be lived in had very few if any ghoul attacks. His view on them changed over time as he'd be rescued by one on his way back from a store. Eventually he'd begin to not only sympathize them but understand them. One day Y/N decided to head to a local coffee shop where he laid eyes on what he thought was the most beautiful woman ever.
