Priests and martyrs alike, preening to witness the very thing-- the very spectacle teased for centuries and millennia. And to think, a water-locked nation, so usually prone to keeping to themselves, wants not a piece but rather the whole pie. 
And they'll get it. Kouka cooperative or not, they'll get it. War willing, they'll get it. After all, to them, battle is just another pastime.
The pie, the cycle- born as siblings at last. He haunted by the past, and she fearful of the future, must face this horrendous stain on their skin. For everyone wants it but them it seems.
