Gracie Fields was thrown into The Master's rule at the young age of eight. Since then, she'd learned the horrible life The Master's followed. As everyone adapted, she didn't; she recognized the cruel way of life that they were being forced to live.

She'd embarked on many different adventures with The Head Master's son, Jackson Reid. By "adventures", many different meanings. The only thing they knew was that they were destined to hate each other, since Jackson and he other Masters overthrew their village during what felt like long ago.

But something changes for her the day that Jackson asks her to be his fake girlfriend, to save him from punishable death. One of The Master's great rule is to flow through many young women; to show their power. She begins to realize that Jackson may not be so bad after all; maybe there was a hidden part of him that cares.

And he does. Together, they decide to end The Master's and their rule.

After all, they are the only ones who can.
