The story begins by following a young girl, age 17, by the name of Christine. Christine is a daddy's girl (not in that way weirdo) who yearns to be able to fight in the upcoming rebellion alongside her father and brother instead of waiting helplessly with her mother and sisters.

Will she be able to get her wish?
