Emery Gibson is like her twin brother, Ari, when it comes to surfing. They have been surfing together since before they can remember. When a certain pretty Brazilian boy comes to Shorehaven, she makes it her mission to help him since he didn't know english that well. Ever since, they have been best friends. That was until, Marlon and Ari 'tried' to surf stairway, resulting in Ari getting injured and not able to surf for a whole year making Emery feel bad for surfing without him, so she took a break from comps to take care of her twin.
