This story follows the bosses in the game little nightmares 2, when they were younger, before they were affected by the signal. Its a fanmade origin story of the game, that follows their lives and how they cope with the cases of people going crazy because of the signal, and that explains how mono slowly went insane, turning into the thin man.

She also finds out that she is not the only normal being existing but that there are a group of survivors as well trying to stop this chaos.
