Butterflies and foxes (Kiriko X male reader)

Y/N is a geeky and socially anxious scientist living in the bright city of San Solara. At a local café, a chance meeting with Kiriko is abruptly interrupted by a shocking attack. Digging into the mystery of the attack, Y/N teams up with Kiriko to investigate. As they grow closer, it's clear they have something special together. Faced with danger around every corner, Y/N grapples not only with external threats but also with their internal struggle: Y/N's social anxiety is particularly acute around Kiriko. Can Y/N keep his life together, or at least, stay alive?
