Throughout her whole life, Piper was alone. She was brought up in a broken family with alcoholics and constant yelling. After running away with her sister, Piper tries to resolve the hardest problem in life: finding herself. But without the money, what is there to achieve? She had to set aside her dream of writing.

Michael was brought up on a silver platter. With everything planned out in life, he was expected to study at Princeton and eventually take over his father's business. None of that was on his mind. He wanted to become an artist.

With the inner turmoil of wanting to be who they truly are, these two go on their own journey to make sense of their messed up world. And when their paths meet, they've finally realized that their last missing puzzle piece was right in front of them.
