The friction in relationships and a battle with the voices in their head causes a death. Who will find the strength to keep going and who will give it all up in one jump?
In Anthem For Doomed Youth, Mitchell (Logan Lerman) tries to accept his sexuality, building up the strength to come out to his religious family. His older brother, Justin (Beau Mirchoff) suffers from anxiety and does the extraordinary to over come his illness. Luka (Dylan O'Brien) is Mitchell's twin brother, who is trying to recover from losing a loved one and building himself up again.
Heartbreak tears these boys apart, but who will regain their strength to start again and who will lose the battle?

Jasper has an incredible and huge crush on Dmitri (Dima, for his friends) and he doesn't know what to do. Jas is too shy and timid to take matters in his hands. Perhaps he needs some advices from Travis and his well-known dirty mind... Oh boy, what to do? Dima is completely straight and horses around with girls, never getting serious about any of them; he is an outgoing, funny and easygoing Russian guy of 18 years, which resembles a huge blonde bear. The body of a missing student is buried in the woods. But only a few know this. At first, it was just a running joke in the hallways of Northwoods High, a lowbrow school in a lower brow town. Finn Sexton never really thought the joke was funny, but his friends couldn't get enough of it. The punchline? New kid, Levi Brightly is gay . Levi is used to being laughed at. A side effect of being the only out queer kid at school. But he draws the line at becoming the volleyball team's personal punching bag, especially since he wants to join the team. After threatening to report Finn's friends to the principal, Finn steps in as Captain and offers Levi a deal in exchange for his silence. He'll watch his back on and off court, and Levi will keep his mouth shut. Except keeping his end of the deal turns out harder than expected, and when the joke goes too far at a party, the worst happens. If she thought I was going to stay after that little performance of her , she had another thing coming. "Logan please! Don't do this . I promised your mom I would help you . Even if it means I have to sit through your insults " she said , yanking me back by my backpack. I was beyond peeved at her right now. "Who do you think you ARE little 'I'm a church girl ' !? Who gives you the RIGHT TO JUST YANK ON ME ! INCASE I HAVEN'T MADE IT CLEAR YET ; LET ME MAKE IT CLEARER. " I looked her straight in the face and jabbed my finger " DONT. YOU . DARE. TOUCH. ME. AGAIN! " As I pulled back her eyes started to gloss over , making her stumble backwards and hit the wall behind her. Pathetic. **** Logan Delgada was your typical , stereotypical super popular , rich jocks that thinks the world revolved around him. The type of guy that walks around with the attitude that 'the party doesn't start until he gets there ' . Like he's a gift to the world. Amaya Parker is a preacher's daughter. The youth leader at their church. She hides away in big crowds and does everything in her will power to keep everyone around her happy. He's rude. She's thoughtful. He swears . Second (History Plays, Book 1)
Rose and Swan Boarding School's social heirarchy is disrupted with the arrival of a new student who catches the eye of the star of the hockey team. Can Edward and Gaveston keep their relationship a secret from the malicious student body and faculty? Definitely not. Rose and Swan is a highly religious boarding school nestled deep in the mountains. It's the perfect place to hide, but Edward is about to find out you can't hide from yourself. He had no problem hiding his sexuality, not until Piers Gaveston, his new roommate, shows up. Based loosely on Kit Marlowe's play 'Edward II'. Feels like a teen rom-com. I wrote this as the book I wished I'd had as a teenager, that is to say I wanted it to be a sort of comforting, relatable world, as well as genuinely fun. That said it does follow the basic plot of the play so there are some unsettling scenes. Namely Chapters: 15, and 23 on. (If you think the cover is too gay I assure you it's what Marlowe would have wanted. If you think the book is too gay I PROMISE you, it's what Marlowe would have wanted). Trigger/Content Warning: some graphic violence that may be disturbing to some readers (chapters 21--on, Epilogue is fine). Some teenage sexuality (teenagers kiss, it is implied teenagers have sex, chapter 19 primarily, but all scenes are PG-13 level sensuality). Brief teenage level crude humor. Self harm is discussed throughout (worst depiction in chapter 14). Conversion therapy discussed at length and briefly depicted (Chapter 15). A character suffers from gender dyphoria and is dead-named on page (chapter 20). Graphic violence/torture after Chapter 21. Be aware of your mental state and seek help as needed.Terminé
