VANITY - ISH

I have never seemed to be able to look into the mirror ever since one incident ; the incident that made me withdraw into my shell
My life never remained the same as soon as I was scarred
and looking into the mirror didn't make things any better . All I could see was the monster that they named me to be . The ugly beast who came not from this world
They say "Stop staring into the vanity!" cus it just proves how vain you are .
To me ; it's the opposite
