Peter Parker, superhero-turned-assassin, is really fucking good at his job. He's honed his spider-sense to a deadly accurate point and no job, employer, competitor, ally, or enemy has been able to get the jump on him since.
That's the problem. The world has become such a gray and dull place that nothing surprises him anymore.
Until he crosses paths with a certain loud-mouthed mercenary while on a job and is caught off guard for the first time in years.
And that kind of spontaneity gets...addicting.
