A man was solving the murder of his dead child. Something got in his way though. Or rather someone. Mariah Resse. Mariah had a daughter Olivia and every time James saw little Olivia, it was like his gut was trying to tell him something. After two successful years with Mariah, on a sunny day, everything turned. Olivia was James' daughter. Not dead at all. James found out. Mariah killed Olivia but James couldn't save her. Mariah disappeared. They locked James into a mental hospital charged for murder... but Mariah is still out there...

December twentieth is the day I remember being brought into the asylum for the first time. Like any typical psychopath, I screamed. I cried. I remember snatching the nurse's hair until she screamed and I was slapped into unconsciousness and thrown into the room. The only difference? I wasn't a psychopath. For the first few days, I would cry maniacally upon hearing any nurse go by, to catch one's attention and tell her that I wasn't insane. "That's exactly what an insane person would say" They said, unbothered and it was as if my fate rested in the mouldy walls of the Asylum. Alyssan Bogard didn't live a long life. She died when she was 17. All she remembers is waking up in her backyard. She has no memory of her death and only has a vague idea about what happened from what she's heard while lingering around her family and previous school. Alyssan has no idea why she's lingering around as a spirit and wants nothing more than to move on. That is until she meets Sawyer. Sawyer Garrison is the guy the teachers adore, who people want to befriend, and who girls want to date. He's the one who's been voted most likely to succeed in life after school. His family life is shit. Sawyer wants nothing more than to get out of dodge as soon as the opportunity presents itself and with only seven months, two weeks, and four days left it couldn't come sooner. That is until he meets Alyssan. Neither expected to meet the other and neither expected the horrendous outcome that arises from it. Alyssan never ran away and she didn't die of any natural causes either. She was murdered and the fact that her killer is still on the loose scares both of them. The fact that the killings started again is even worse. With the killer targeting more girls, she and Sawyer might be the only hope of stopping the deaths. Just when he thinks his life could not get any worse, a mysterious child mime appears and begins to haunt him. He soon finds a possible connection between that mime and his late daughter. Kef struggles to keep his life together but the haunts keep evolving into something more sinister. With his life at stake, Kef decides to investigate and realizes that the mime may be the answer to an ongoing police case of missing children. The further he digs, the darker the world around him gets. Kef discovers something along the way that could very well answer all of his questions. There's only one problem.
