Snippets of HuaLian's reign of WuYong throughout history all the way to the present, where Xie Lian thinks it's about time for them to focus on themselves instead of the country.
Thus, he moves out, knowing Hua Cheng will follow him wherever Xie Lian chooses to go. He doesn't know when his husband of over 2000 years will follow though, and neither does he know which role he'll slip into before introducing himself as whichever persona he chooses. He does know that it'll be exciting though, and he can't wait for them to get to know each other all over again! He also didn't know he would get kidnapped at some point, but that was an unimportant little detail anyway.
I highly advise to read The King's Dancer and The King's Mate before reading this part, because you probably will be very confused otherwise.
