Era noche buena y los seis miembros de Heartsteel se preparaban para viajar a último momento a visitar a sus familiares, cuando un incidente deja la ciudad en la que viven a oscuras. Un apagón general genera que los vuelos y viajes se paralicen como también el internet de corte. Atrapados todos en el apartamento juntos, para matar el tiempo sacan un juego de mesa llamado "The game of the Life" donde formaran equipos (o mejor dicho parejas) donde se casarán, tendrán familia y comprarán una casa de manera ficticia, tratando cada equipo de ganar, en el proceso volviéndose más cercanos y conociéndose mejor los pares de ellos.
