It was supposed to be a normal day. I would hang out with my friends, go to a party, maybe go to the lake. But sometimes you can't control what happens in life. You can't stop someone from dying and you can't stop someone from doing something they are so passionate about. People still try though.
The day, it went nowhere near how I thought it would. From the second I left my house, I knew today would be different. I didn't know how, I didn't know why.
I'm the girl who is right a lot but never likes to speak. I tend to observe people and things. I guess it wasn't so much a surprise to me when I woke and found everything different. In a way, I expected it. Just not that different. Maybe people went missing, died, maybe I witnessed a murder. Maybe that's why I decided to go to the party, for I knew it wouldn't matter tomorrow. I guess that's why I wore what my best friend picked out for me. I don't know where she is. If she followed our plan.
