Peeta is having another one of his episodes, unpleasant courtesy of the Capitol's hijacking. In a violent frenzy, he begs Katniss to leave, wanting her to escape any harm he could possibly inflict; because if he hurt her, he'd never be able to forgive himself. But will she do what he says and leave, or will she stick by Peeta's side? Rated 'PG' for minor language and slight sensuality (kissing).

You've heard Katniss' side of the story. Now hear Peeta's! Peeta Mellark is the baker's son; the boy with the bread. Peeta never believed he would be chosen to compete in the Hunger Games, especially not against Katniss Everdeen. He's had a crush on her 'ever since he can remember'. But the true extent of his feelings for her haven't been realised, and initially, Peeta will risk anything to survive- even if that means he'll have to return home without Katniss. But as Peeta's time with Katniss increases, so does his affection towards her. Away from home, he has the opportunity to disentangle his complicated web of emotions. However, what he finds may make it harder for him to accept his fate- especially as his one true love seems hell-bent on winning at any cost.
