Way back in the year 2017 I wrote a fanfic under the title Claimed. In writing that fanfic, I found a wonderful community that enjoyed my writing. I'd like to imagine that since then, I have grown a little as a writer. So without further ado, welcome to Claimed, a revised rendition.

But the demon has become restless. The church has decided to make more sacrifices then intended. Due to his family ties to the church, Flug is chosen to be the next sacrifice to the demon. Thanks to his research into the occult, Flug manages to change his fate, and makes a deal with the demon. Flug wants revenge, and in exchange, he promises to free the demon. Extended explanation: one day a tired, overworked, Flug makes a mistake in his lab that renders him unconscious for two weeks, during that time his boos Black hat starts to genuinely worry about his scientist. When Flug finally wakes up he notices that Black hat is starting to be nicer, and putting up with him a little more. At this point this fic has little to do with zwagyzonk's version, but it's still their original idea. Just to clear up any possible questions, this fic is set before canon. Obvious "dead dove: do not eat" (especially chapter 16 and 18), even though I've never had anyone complain about the lack of warnings (thank god for this fandom). There a was a layer of concern just under Todd's indifferent tone, and the protectiveness that seemed ever present in Todd when they were younger and Todd was always saving Levon from his problems. Levon's anger seemed to melt away at that familiar sense of security. "I'm good," Levon spoke finally and a soft smile spread over his lips. "Are you good?" "I'm good," Todd said gruffly. "Are we good?" Levon asked and Todd scoffed. "What we. There is no we. We're not friends." "Wouldn't want you as a friend anyway," Levon snickered. "You're kind of an asshole."
