A year has passed since Sword Art Online was defeated for good, and everyone was freed from the game. But one young man was still not free of the torment. And a job.

Thomas Trey Kirigaya is now an emotionless husk of who he once was. He once had the whole world ahead of him, but reality set in within Sword Art Online. Once he left Sword Art Online, he would go on to learn of the new state his family was in, being pronounced an orphan. Time passed, and he then became known by the Kirigaya family, and more specifically; Kirito.

The job seemed simple. Just go into GGO,-a game Thomas was quite familiar with-find Death Gun and confront him. But narry did Thomas know, it was to be a much larger undertaking.

The Black Swordsman by MCChuckWriting

This is a retelling of the "Fairy Dance Arc" from "Sword Art Online." Since the "Sword Art Online Progressive" movie is dropping this year, I thought it was perfect timing to write my own version of this arc with my own twist on it. The story focuses on Kirito waking up after beating the death game of "Sword Art Online" and learning that Asuna isn't awake, yet. Not being able to handle the guilt, he loses all of the swagger and confidence that he once had in the original game. Kirito learns that Asuna is in a different VR world and with the help of his friends and sister, he must save Asuna from a threat unlike anything that he faced in the original "Sword Art Online." This story is going to be a much darker and bloodier adaptation of the source material. I hope you all enjoy it and as always, thank you for reading!
