Cross the line

Avery Collins has dreamt of becoming a author since she was a little girl, when she wrote short stories for her parents to put on the fridge. Now, at 21 she works at a coffee shop and has a severe case of writer's block. That is, until she meets a handsome stranger at the coffee shop who she is immediately taken with, but he also comes with a child and a whole lot of attention and fame that she is not comfortable with.

Matteo Soares has played basketball all his life. Now, as a professional basketball player on the Knicks he has it all. The fame, the adoring fans, the girls. But after years of the same thing, he feels like he is missing something. That is, until he meets the gorgeous Avery Collins after a coffee incident. She has it all. The brains, the beauty, she gets along well with his son. He is immediately taken with her but they just stay friends because of long distance and his fame.
