An apocalyptic, genre-bending tale of moral greyness, supernatural intrigue, and a certain sense of Stockholm.

--------------------

"Then why are you here?"

"My reasons are beyond your understanding."

"I love that you don't directly call me 'stupid'."

--------------------

SELESTE is in her senior year of college, so of course an alien invasion would just have to happen now. On top of that, they seem to be on a quick path to enslaving the entirety of the human race. Even though she knew her life was over, and she'd spent YEARS trying to make a better life for herself, Seleste can not afford to be captured. She is, what some may call, a vampire-she's granted faster, better healing, super-strength, and heightened senses at the cost of drinking a little fresh blood from time to time, and if she doesn't, she could die. There's no telling what the aliens-the Ani'ira Fal-will do to her when they find out.

So of course, while making a run for it, she comes face to face with THE COMMANDER of the Ani'ira Fal. Tall with skin as white as snow and long hair blacker than the night, and hypnotic purple eyes. A certain stern handsomeness about him, but ultimately very much an alien. And though she does manage to escape being taken prisoner, such close contact with someone so high up can't be a good thing for trying to lay low for too long.

Here's ANOTHER invasion story for you, except instead of vampires, it's the more traditional version of a supernatural invasion: aliens.

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 & 𝐒𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭. "Do you have any idea what I'd do if you left me, Elara?" he murmured, his voice deceptively soft. I didn't answer. I knew better. He let out a dark chuckle, tilting my chin up until our eyes met. His gaze was wild-obsessed. Unhinged. "I'd hunt you. Drag you back. Chain you to my bed if I had to." His lips ghosted over mine, almost gentle. "And the worst part? You'd still be mine. Willingly or not." My heart pounded, but I refused to let him see fear. I am not weak or stupid. I won't run like the others. I will wait. Play the game. And when the time came-I will make him bleed. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Elara Carter was never one to be afraid. Strong-willed, sharp-tongued, and independent, she had always fought her battles alone. But when she returned to her old school after years, she never expected to step right back into the grasp of the one person she should have stayed far away from. Luca Moretti. Once, he was the boy who made her smile-the boy with warmth in his eyes and mischief in his heart. Now, he is a man carved from ice and cruelty, a man whose name alone sends chills down spines. The heir to the most feared criminal empire. Cold, ruthless, and dangerously obsessive. And for some reason, he has set his sights on her. Trapped in a world of madness and power, Elara must decide-fight for her freedom or surrender to the monster who wants nothing more than to own her completely. Because in Luca's world, love isn't soft. It's dangerous, consuming, and utterly inescapable.

The aliens came here for one thing, and one thing only.... Females. ( This story is only available through inkitt or galatea!!!) (some read events may apply) (check update chapter for more details!) Humans believed they were the only intelligent life to exist... that it was impossible for another species to evolve in a way where they could prevail in something as great as space travel. humans believed they were supposed to be the most technologically advanced species and the alpha predators... They were wrong. The Xandisians evolved in ways humans never could have imagined, they are natural-born killers with phenomenal strength and agility. Their kind never went through the same devolution as humans, they never lost their natural instincts to hunt, kill, or breed. With their limitless potential and monstrous strength, they faced few threats and could survive almost any threat that befall their species, almost. After an incurable sickness washes over the planet of xanadis, the majority of the female, young and elderly, and vulnerable population is all but wiped out, leaving a small portion of the male population to face the threat of extinction. With no choice but to look to the stars for a means to save their kind from complete annihilation, the xandisians set out to find a race compatible with their own. after many years and countless failed expeditions, they finally find a species that matches their base DNA on a planet called Earth. The only issue now is how humans will react. (Book 2 LTF series) (CAN be read as a stand alone, but not recommended for nostalgia reasons~) (ps this is UNEDITED, grammar and spelling mistakes will ensue!) (NOTE: THIS IS ITS OWN STORY NOT A CONTINUATION. SAME CHARACTERS BUT DIFFERENT PLOT.)(Last to fall au/spin-off)

In a distant realm where magic thrives, ferocious beasts shake mountains and rivers with their mighty roars, and individuals wield superhuman strength capable of reshaping their surroundings. It is a magical world where the strong rules. But rampant corruption and chaos exist, where slavery, rape, murder, and discrimination against the weak were all but common. The magically superior people trample over the lesser unfortunate folks, using them as stepping stones and disposable assets. All hope for these downtrodden souls seems lost, but the wheels of fate have other plans for them. In a faraway ocean, one that is filled with demons and sea monsters, a great technological civilization suddenly appeared, one that came from a world that is only filled with chaos and destruction. This civilization became the heaven for people seeking a stable and peaceful life. The Earth rose and seas parted ways, and the environment had totally changed for its adaptability. Unfortunately, the inhabitants of this great technological civilization are all but manaless, arriving in a world where they are seen as inferior and as slaves. How will they react of finding themselves in a world where people can split mountains or bend the fabric of space, and where beings exist that even conventional weapons cannot defeat? How will they survive against deadly monsters, superhumans, titanic creatures, gods, and eldritch forces that could threaten entire nations? And how will the other powers that exist in this world react to a powerful, advanced nation filled with a race they deem inferior? This is the story of one of the most powerful empires on Earth, and how it broke the balance of power and rose to the top.

Lotticia Andrews had spent her entire life behind the walls of her library. Her father raised her to be selfish, and to fear the outside, and even after his death- she never left. She and her border collie had remained- until their food ran out. Lotticia wasn't a fighter, she only ever knew how to use knives- a knife her father had taught her how to use. A knife, a dog, a journal, and anxiety are all her father left her with. And books- hundreds of books. Then a Warrior general stomps his way into her life- trampling her solitary and lonely life. He's loud and obnoxious, imposing- but there seemed more beneath his hard exterior. His personality was a weapon he wore like his armor. General Christoph was a harsh leader compared to his predecessor Zelle. The warrior who trained him and chose him to continue in his footsteps after his death. He was bitter and cynical- and didn't intend to take another woman after his mate had died all those years ago. But things don't always go according to plan- he never meant to stumble upon a small female, nor her furry big-eyed dog. Christoph needed this human, for her knowledge and the language she could help them to understand her hand language. A small group, a one-day trip- that was all it was supposed to be. But then no one expected poachers, Another human female, or the natural cycle and what it could do to the human body. Christoph had completely underestimated the trip. Now war has broken out and tensions rise- both buried feelings and skeletons come falling out of the closet. Can this spunky smart girl survive the Palace's wrath? Can Christoph face the reality that things aren't always what they seem nor black and white? Will Lassie play her part- and find her way home? Who knows- maybe humanity was doomed on Earth- but that won't be Lottie or her dog- because she's willing to do whatever it takes to get moved up to the front of the list. Even if it means dealing with the palace, poachers, and skrill alike.
