An apocalyptic, genre-bending tale of moral greyness, supernatural intrigue, and a certain sense of Stockholm.

"Then why are you here?"
"My reasons are beyond your understanding."
"I love that you don't directly call me 'stupid'."

SELESTE is in her senior year of college, so of course an alien invasion would just have to happen now. On top of that, they seem to be on a quick path to enslaving the entirety of the human race. Even though she knew her life was over, and she'd spent YEARS trying to make a better life for herself, Seleste can not afford to be captured. She is, what some may call, a vampire-she's granted faster, better healing, super-strength, and heightened senses at the cost of drinking a little fresh blood from time to time, and if she doesn't, she could die. There's no telling what the aliens-the Ani'ira Fal-will do to her when they find out.
So of course, while making a run for it, she comes face to face with THE COMMANDER of the Ani'ira Fal. Tall with skin as white as snow and long hair blacker than the night, and hypnotic purple eyes. A certain stern handsomeness about him, but ultimately very much an alien. And though she does manage to escape being taken prisoner, such close contact with someone so high up can't be a good thing for trying to lay low for too long.
Here's ANOTHER invasion story for you, except instead of vampires, it's the more traditional version of a supernatural invasion: aliens.
"Trespassing in a commoners home is 1 year in prison...2 if you're discovered to be a thief. The laws on Crex are pretty strict... but to trespass into the palace?" She let out a low whistle. "That's pretty bad."
Great. Neo thought, this was just what he needed. Not only was he currently being humiliated by wearing this movement restricting collar, but now he was currently being sassed by a Vaulkarian female that should be in bed and resting.

Neo Adranni is a charming, puns ahoy kind of guy. In fact, he's not just any guy. He's secretly a prince from planet Valaria who ran away in search for something greater, and so far he thinks he's got it. The life as a thief has been WAY more exhilarating then sitting around in a palace learning proper etiquette. (And of course it's always nice being Vaulkarian, the most gorgeous of humanoid aliens, especially when your in the mood for a quick bump in the night.)
Jacquelyn Wake, a small servant girl with a lot of tricks up her sleeves. She's adored by the Queen of Crex, so much so that she's even considered to be the adopted daughter. She works to earn her keep, to help in any way she can if there's a job to be done, against the Queen's wishes might I add. However, despite all this, there has always been something... off about her. She's always watching. Always listening. And always seems to be in the right place at the right time...
A true tale of love that only just barely SCRATCHES the surface of what is to come for the galaxy. After all this is just BOOK 1
"Sometimes... Love is worth dying for."
