Ness is from Kerch. Or at least that's what she tells everybody. She has been taken to Fjerda to face what she's been running away from. Meanwhile, Calvin, Jesper and Wylan's adopted Kaelish son, had just discovered a hidden power he didn't know he had. He has been hauled off to the Little Palace to train. But someone is coming to him in the night. Who is she, and what does she want?
