Halb Mensch, halb Elb und doch irgendwie Beiden nicht zugehörig. So geht es der kleinen Silmail schon von Anfang an. Als als uneheliches Kind einer Mensch-Elben Verbindung wandert sie zwischen den Telerielben Lindons und den Menschen am Hofe ihres Vaters in Gondor hin und her. Bis sich ihre Mutter in den Westen aufmacht und dunkle Mächte das Königreichs ihres Vaters terrorisieren.

Was das mit ihr zu tun hat und welche Veränderungen das mit sich bringt, gilt es für Silmail nun herauszufinden.

Dies ist eine Story, welche an auf Basis des Tolkien-Universums geschrieben ist. Natürlich wurden dafür manche von J.R.R. Tolkiens Originalcharakteren entsprechend angepasst und weichen damit von der Ursprungslore ab. Auch die Schreibweisen mancher Namen (besonders jene mit Akzenten) wurden bewusst simplifiziert, um das Lesen für jene leichter zu machen, die sich noch nicht so mit den Originalwerken Tolkiens auseinandergesetzt haben:)
