Clover had died, but not the way that was intended. Ceroba had won. Upon waking and seeing the child's lifeless body, the child she swore to get home, the child who Ceroba had acted like was her friend before betraying them, betraying them all, something broke inside of Martlet. She swore that, even if she had to give up everything she was, she would avenge her friend. She would enact JUSTICE in their name. But as Ceroba's dust fills the air, in place of an all consuming rage, all she feels is an all consuming emptiness that threatens to scatter her to the wind. However, a voice from beyond brings her back from the brink, convincing her that maybe she can be redeemed.
