The Hayashi's Case

"What is wrong with me..?"

That's what Shiro Hayashi always asked herself throughout her childhood. People always told her she was weird but Shiro never understood why people said that.
She finally understood in middle school what was wrong with her. She looked at other kids and saw them laughing, some of them crying and some of them angry but Shiro had never felt that. No matter how hard she tried, she always failed to feel something.
She understood why her parents always brought her to the hospital, she understood why her father always cried during the night, she understood why no one wanted to be her friend. She understood that she had to pretend to be like everyone so that the constant bullying and rumours would stop.

But everything changed for Shiro Hayashi when she entered the same school her mother had attended during the 80's.
