It was as if each droplet whispered secrets of our shared journey, reminding me of the moments I had shared and the ones yet to come. The rain became a tapestry of memories, of stolen glances, laughter, and stolen forehead kisses.

It was a symphony that played in my heart, a melody that resonated with my every heartbeat. And so, as the rain continued to fall, as I, embraced its presence with an open heart.

"𝕴𝖙 𝖜𝖆𝖘 𝖆 𝖗𝖊𝖒𝖎𝖓𝖉𝖊𝖗 𝖔𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖇𝖊𝖆𝖚𝖙𝖞 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖈𝖔𝖚𝖑𝖉 𝖇𝖊 𝖋𝖔𝖚𝖓𝖉 𝖎𝖓 𝖛𝖚𝖑𝖓𝖊𝖗𝖆𝖇𝖎𝖑𝖎𝖙𝖞, 𝖎𝖓 𝖆𝖑𝖑𝖔𝖜𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖔𝖓𝖊𝖘𝖊𝖑𝖋 𝖙𝖔 𝖇𝖊 𝖉𝖗𝖊𝖓𝖈𝖍𝖊𝖉 𝖇𝖞 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖊𝖒𝖔𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓𝖘 𝖙𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖋𝖑𝖔𝖜𝖊𝖉 𝖑𝖎𝖐𝖊 𝖗𝖎𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖘 𝖜𝖎𝖙𝖍𝖎𝖓."

And with each raindrop that fell, I knew that my love for him would forever be intertwined with the essence of the rain, a testament to the power of our connection and the beauty of our journey together.

"What do you want?" I snap, slamming my locker shut. His casual smirk, messy dark hair, tan skin, strong arms, eerie storm-grey eyes... the list could go on of things I notice- that I shouldn't notice- about him. "Oh, I want a lot of things." He inspects a speck of dirt on his arm. "I'm sure you've heard the news?" His eyes flicker back up to meet mine. Does he know? No. He can't. So I roll my eyes. He can't know that I know, that I would do anything to be the first one he tells. "You'll have to be more specific." I mutter, trying to look casual as I inspect my nails. "Well, it involves a certain title of the swim team," He offers. I shrug. "So you got captain. That's cool. And what do I have to do with that?" He narrows his eyes, trying to read my expression. Unfortunately for him, I have mastered the art of hiding my emotions. "This is what I wanted to talk to you about. During English," He fiddles with his sweater sleeve. "I recall you trying to talk to me," I frown. "Well, I..." He swallows, seeming... nervous? "I'm not doing too great... subject wise. And if I don't pick up my ass soon, I might be forced to quit." He rubbed the back of his neck, making his shirtsleeve slide up his arm to reveal a strong bicep. Not that I notice. I narrow my eyes. "And what do I get back in return?" I cross my arms. I'm going to be late for the bus if we don't hurry. He studies my face. "Name your price." He mirrored my position. I sigh. Money... but I don't need it. Popularity... but I don't want it. I meet his gaze steadily. He lifts his chin, the tiniest bit, but it doesn't intimidate me. I square my shoulders and stand up straight. He's only just taller than me. "What I was going to say was selfish..." He mumbled. I edge closer to him until my hand slowly cradled his cheek. Tilting his head up to look at me. "Please let me know what it was." I beg him pathetically. He begins to chew his lip and that's when I knew he was nervous. Nervous about what? I'm not exactly sure. "With everything I said...I was going to say at the same time...never...leave me." He confessed painfully almost. That's when I lost all sense of control and pressed my lips onto his. Kissing him with all my strength and all the built up desire that's accumulated. I continued to kiss him until at some point my tongue made it's way into his mouth. Tasting a sweet flavor that I've never encountered. As I got deeper in the kissing I feel myself fly back into a tree. Slammed against it that I felt myself lose my breath. Trying to catch it, I look up at Achille. His eyes were now a crimson red that intrigued me. He shook his head and suddenly he was gone in a blur. Confused, I stood as I had to pop my back from the hard hit into the tree. Looking in the direction Achille ran off, I knew I couldn't see him because it'd be a blur. Always thought it was fascinating how when he runs you can't see it. Being a vampire must be...fascinating. Yet he makes it out to be hell. I can't understand that kind of complicity of being a vampire and the issues. I get it, they drink blood. Though there's multiple things beside humans that offer blood! He acts like it's so horrific. I would love to know what it felt like for a day. Just one day...

"I think I'm gay." I say, leaving out the part about my... exposing dream about him last night. I watched his expression, waiting for some sign that he was angry. I waited for him to call me a faggot, to curse me off and tell me he never wanted to see me again. Instead, I was greeted with his perfect toothy smile. "That's great man, I'm of proud you." He says, patting my arm as he stuffed another cracker in his mouth. "It takes some real balls to come out to someone." He says, his beautiful green eyes blazing into mine. I felt myself become flustered at his gaze. "Uh, Yeah, Thanks." I stumbled out, "You're not mad?" I ask. His expression turns to hurt as he crinkles his eyebrows. "Why the hell would I be mad?" He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes. I look away, towards the door to hide the crimson blush that I feel spread over my face. "Thanks." I all but squeak out. And that's the day I realized, I have a faint crush on my best friend. <><><><><< THIS BOOK IS BEING *MAJORLY* EDITED. Day is blind. And he hates being pitied more than anything. When he had enough of his parents' constant worrying, he moved into another town to start a new life and fulfill his longtime goal of publishing a book. There, he comes across a friendly stranger who is more than ready to help out Day in any way he can. And Day thinks that maybe - just maybe - he has found the only person who didn't pity him. Excerpt from the book : This was not the first time anyone had ever appreciated Day's writing, but this time around, Day sure felt awkward and speechless. His lack of social life sure took a toll on him. "Good night, P'Mhok. It seems like it's going to rain, get home safely." He managed to say something, and to second his statement, the thunder came rumbling afterward. Mhok smiled and looked at Day in a different manner like he did for the past few days. The look that made him realize that Day was not just his employer. I like you, Day - he wanted to say that. "Good night, Day." He settled with that instead.
